This was my latest project, and one I really enjoyed because it started with a simple, local connection. I found Broadway Massage, a local Chicago spa, while walking my dog. The owners were incredibly kind, but their digital presence was in desperate need of a refresh; the old website was outdated, had a poor layout, and was not mobile-friendly. My work went beyond just a simple redesign. I built them a modern, responsive landing page that beautifully showcases their services and atmosphere. But I also provided a more complete digital overhaul by updating and optimizing their Yelp, Google Maps, and Google Business Profile pages to ensure consistency and professionalism across all platforms. A key part of the project was also ensuring the new website was properly listed on Google's Search Engine to help new customers find them. I'm incredibly happy with the final design. Initially, we planned to build a custom booking system with Google's Calendar API, but the client decided it was more than they needed for their current operations. I respected their decision, as it was a great lesson in building what a client truly needs, not just what's technically possible. It was a rewarding experience to help a great local business put their best foot forward online.

This project is a demonstration portfolio I designed for a fictional photographer, James Peterson. The goal was to create a visually stunning and highly functional website tailored specifically for creative professionals. I focused on an elegant, image-centric experience where the photography itself is the star, supported by a clean and modern design that enhances the artwork without distracting from it. The site features a fully responsive layout, a minimalist UI, and clear calls-to-action like "View Gallery" and "Book a Session" to guide visitors and convert them into clients. It also includes essential business elements like client testimonials and experience metrics to build trust. Ultimately, this demo serves as a perfect example of my ability to build a polished, professional online presence for any brand that needs to make a strong visual impact.

This project began as a custom build for a B2B micro-services provider, a call center that could assign specialized teams to handle any given task. However, after I completed the website, the client unfortunately never proceeded with the launch. Rather than let the work go to waste, I rebranded it and have kept it as a demonstration site, as it remains one of the most beautiful and technically advanced websites I've ever built. The site is packed with features designed for a professional, international business audience. Its most advanced feature is a complete internationalization (i18n) system for seamless English-Spanish translations. It automatically detects the user's browser language but also includes a clean, simple language switcher for manual control. The design is clean, corporate, and data-driven, built to establish trust with potential clients by highlighting key metrics like "95% Customer Satisfaction". While it's a shame it never went live for the original client, this project is now a powerful showcase of my capabilities. It demonstrates my ability to build a sophisticated, feature-rich web application with a polished UI, comprehensive pages for services and FAQs, and advanced functionalities like i18n. It stands as a testament to the kind of high-quality, professional landing page I can create for any business.

This was my third commercial project and a significant step in my professional journey. I partnered with a Nicaragua-based business to build the primary website for their new real estate development, "Ofibodegas": a unique concept combining office and warehouse space. The client was just starting out with little more than 3D renders and land layouts, so my task was to create a digital presence that would build credibility and attract serious investors and business tenants from the ground up. The website needed to be a comprehensive resource for high-value leads. I built out numerous features, including a downloadable business PDF, detailed sections on facility benefits, a thorough FAQ, and a secure contact form to handle inquiries. Anticipating that the client would need to make frequent updates as the project developed, I decided to explore a more robust solution. This was the first project where I integrated a headless CMS (PayloadCMS), which gave the client full control over their content and also managed their contact form submissions. After a few redesigns, we landed on a final version that I'm very proud of and, most importantly, the client is pleased with. This project was a major milestone for me; it involved navigating the complexities of an international client relationship and pushed me to implement more advanced, scalable backend solutions. It was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience that significantly leveled up my skills.

This was one of my first professional projects, built for a family member's high-end tailoring business in the Miami area. The client needed an elegant online presence but gave me minimal direction, so I had the creative freedom to interpret her brand's essence, "Tailored Elegance", and translate it into a fitting digital experience. The solution was a two-page design that guides visitors through the brand's story in a clean, linear way. I'm particularly proud of the simplistic but straight-to-the-point UI, which uses clear calls-to-action like "Schedule an Appointment" to encourage personal consultations, not just online sales. The result is a sophisticated digital brochure that captures the brand's exclusive feel and taught me a valuable lesson in brand strategy.

This project is incredibly close to my heart. I serve as a member of the board and the CTO for Bleeding Hearts Across America (BHAA), a passionate, youth-run non-profit dedicated to serving the South Florida community. When I joined, their online presence didn't fully capture the energy of their mission, so they needed a professional and welcoming website to act as a central hub for donors, volunteers, and the community they support. Working closely with the founder, I led the development of their new website from the ground up. The goal was to build a digital reflection of the organization's spirit: caring, effective, and community-focused. We created a platform that tells their story through authentic visuals and makes it incredibly simple for visitors to take action with clear calls-to-action for donations and volunteering. The site now serves as the organization's official digital headquarters, helping them connect with more supporters and streamline their outreach. On a personal level, this was my first serious project and the one that truly solidified my confidence as a developer. It proved to me that thoughtful code can be a powerful tool for social good.
